Monday, September 9th
Serena and Dan are off playing hanky panky trying to rekindle their puppy love. The more I see the couple, the less I’m convinced they actually like each other. I don’t know, next to Blair’s and Chuck’s drama, they just seem kinda lame.
So everyone is still at the Hamptons. Chuck does his best to sabotage B’s affair with “the English lord, Marcus. So Blair throws a ridiculous party to impress her swanky new suitor. Okay, so we all know that the relationship between Chuck and Blair will end in death or marriage . . . hmmm, so either way, it’s bad.
Meanwhile, why is the always yummy Nate seeing an older woman (who we find out is Marcus’ step-MILF)? I have a hunch about Nate. I think he’s going to end up with Serena’s brother. Am I going out on a limb here? Does anyone else get that vibe?
And the less interesting left over characters . . .that Latina chick; I forgot her name is pining over Nate as Dan’s dad decides he doesn’t want to tour. They decorate a shed and make it a coffee house. I thought Dan’s family was poor?
And my other favorite character, little Jenny, comes back by the end of the episode. Will there be a Jenny, Blair throw down? One can only hope!
